    Ghosted after 4 interviews

@jane_ The last time I told anyone why we didn't hire them they showed up at my office with a gun. This is just the result of legal issues, protection and the American dream all failing. You shouldn't take it personally, it sucks for everyone. They also have confidential reasons they can't...

Joining a 1 year old startup as a late co-founder, what should my equity be?

@biblequest It could be ok - Really depends on the revenue. Some revenue could be $100 or $500k. Tripling $100 is not impressive. So you need to factor in that part of the equation in relation to the value of your equity. What's the runway? What do you believe you're worth now? Could you do...

The Best HRMS Software for Young Startup Owners | Better HR

@reina85 Some of the worst positioning copy I've ever seen. Immediately shows you have no understanding of the industry and customers and have built a product that solves problems you don't understand at all. Provide necessary tools & gadgets to run a business. - Wow! Amazing, I always want...

The reason's people don't get wealthy

@613jono I agree with you, if you have it all figured out you tend to get rich. But I have found wealthy people who are terrible at most things but their work ethic made it work.

The reason's people don't get wealthy

@mariusk I work with a lot of successful businesses, the only thing they all have in common is work ethic. Some of the wealthiest people I know aren't that bright, they just work hard and consistently over time. I have a totally different take on all of this. What I believe builds wealth is...

What would you expect the equity breakdown to be?

@00michael Then hire people, not founders. That is a key difference and provides significant value to the company, or you wouldn't have them as founders. The only calculation that truly matters is how much (or not) the CEO values these individuals compared to how much they value themselves.

What would you expect the equity breakdown to be?

@asaithambi Exactly what I factored before I even clicked the link. Yes. On the surface, yes. The real variables are the value each side of the table puts on each other, which is the only thing you're negotiating.

What would you expect the equity breakdown to be?

@aforgivenman OP did not provide any relevant experience information, if they are junior or senior should be part of the consideration.

    Interactive Offer Letter - OffrWise

@hdelaluz14 I think it can work but you'll have to sell it the hard way in the beginning. At some point it may become popular and preferred, but nobody is looking for this solution imo - if you want to disrupt something with a new way, you'll have to go after your target market head on. That's...

    Prepare Me for the Investors

@truthevenifyouhateit I got nothing, good idea. Only challenge I see is that equity only work is often asked for but rarely feasible from my experience. I think you will get a lot of sign ups which is good but I'm not sure I believe they will find a lot of success, but you'll be able to make...
