I lost hundreds of dollars on ads and learned important lessons. Aka, how to run ads better than me

I tried cheating my way to growth with ads. And it didn’t end well. And I know it wouldn't go well because I've seen dozens of my clients do the same. But something is just so alluring about the idea of $1 in = +$1 out with ads. I ran $650 worth of ads when I first started my latest project and...

I challenged myself to get 10K+ weekly post impressions on Linkedin

I did a post about “How I got on the top of Reddit” quite a while ago in which I shared all the strategies and tools I’m using to grow on Reddit. Missed it! Check it out here But today, I want to talk about my all-time favorite platform - LinkedIn. LinkedIn opened doors for some of the...

I made over 2k from my digital product/side hustle in 2 months

I launched my first-ever digital product in February of this year. And in the last 2 months, I’ve made over $2K+ selling it. The good part > it doesn’t take any time for me to deliver, so it’s completely passive income. The product that I’m currently selling is my “No Bullsh*t Startup Guide”...

I've launched dozens of companies (3 of them as a founder). Here is how to build your MVP

@inlimbo22 That's a great question. If you're looking into the theory of why we don't want to create the web app first, there is a lot of great reading and listening on this. The Lean Startup, Lean Launchpad Course, Hypothesis Driven Product Development, and much more. The basic idea goes...

I've launched dozens of companies (3 of them as a founder). Here is how to build your MVP

You should always start with a simple premise: “What is the least amount of work I can do to deliver value?” This means you are not going to do things like: Incorporating your business until you know it’s viable Spending thousands of dollars developing an app Hiring a team without knowing if...

How I've gotten thousands of customers (over 10 years) through cold outreach while only spending ~$50/month

Outbound outreach is hard to perfect but easy to set up. This is typically a method used only by B2B companies. But I believe there is potential in B2C as well. For example, a lot of the voices we feature on Cicero have Linkedin. I’d find the people commenting and liking their Linkedin posts...

My No BS Guide/Checklist for ideating, validating, launching and growing startups 3-5x faster. Tested with 200+ Founders

@jbb Great. In that case once you have it validated I don’t see any reasons why you should waste your time trying to learn. Hire developers! The worst thing you can do is burn yourself on things that you’re not good at

My No BS Guide/Checklist for ideating, validating, launching and growing startups 3-5x faster. Tested with 200+ Founders

@jbb The key honestly is to figure out the lowest effort thing you can build. For starting Cicero.ly, we basically had to prove that our curated content approach worked. So we first build a newsletter. That required no coding. What is your version of that? Can it just be a landing page?
