hey saas community,

my name is andy and i'm working on this saas boilerplate template to help developers go from idea to launch as quickly as possible: https://github.com/denoland/saaskit

we're working towards a V1 release (soon!) but want to hear from all other saas developers out there — what is the most painful part about developing a saas app? if you could wave a magic wand, what would you want from your saas app?

we'd love to talk to you and get your input! (we'll compensate for your time.) if you're interested please fill out this pre qualification survey (less than a minute): https://ethn.io/42118

thank you!

andy

@kiriya Marketing D:

development is free

marketing is not free [also painful!!] -> cold emails, google ads, cold calling, youtube ads, creating video ads etc...

@kiriya There is an easy way. All of these advertising platforms make it as easy as possible to adjust ads and find what works for your company. There are even 3rd party tools for most of these platforms that basically spoon feed you keywords, etc.

@kiriya Imo a SaaS boilerplate NEEDS teams/organizations/invites. So many boilerplates skip it but a necessary part of most SaaSs.

Other than that it’d be nice to have multiple auth providers and account linking, well thought through guards against things like users deleting their account without canceling their active subscriptions, and emails (newsletter signups, managing notifications, welcome/event triggered by mails).
