are you a developer? what do you hate about building a saas app?

marketing is not free [also painful!!] -> cold emails, google ads, cold calling, youtube ads, creating video ads etc...

@kamoody2003 marketing is a big part of saas that most people don't think about. if there was an easy way to productize that...

@kiriya There is an easy way. All of these advertising platforms make it as easy as possible to adjust ads and find what works for your company. There are even 3rd party tools for most of these platforms that basically spoon feed you keywords, etc.

@kiriya Imo a SaaS boilerplate NEEDS teams/organizations/invites. So many boilerplates skip it but a necessary part of most SaaSs.

Other than that it’d be nice to have multiple auth providers and account linking, well thought through guards against things like users deleting their account without canceling their active subscriptions, and emails (newsletter signups, managing notifications, welcome/event triggered by mails).

@kiriya Biggest struggle for me was getting stripe working as I needed it, still not sure it’s set up correctly
