Arvel - #MakeItReal

Hey dwellers,

I and my co-founders have built a product called Arvel (website and iOS app).

Considering the current scenario we live in where traveling is strictly restricted and social media webs such as Instagram, facebook are turning into market places and advertisement-focused platforms, we have built this app so that people can share their real experiences.

Main differences:
  1. All shared images are taken via camera (i.e. photos can't be uploaded from camera roll)
  2. Location and date are captured by us and verified
  3. Posts can be shared anonymously
  4. Each post has 48 hours of lifetime after it disappears from platform
Please share a picture from your surrounding - we're curious to see what is happening around you!

Let us know what you think!

@jeff0007 At this point we think the early audience would be:

1. Journalists and reporters - they are sharing and using in their publications verified images/info from events/accidents

2. Ordinary community members - they would like to spread info about something happening around them (i.e. "whistleblowing")

3. Ordinary people - share personal experience, similar to Instagram but without promotions, commercials, and photoshops - i.e. real experience

If you have anything on your mind please let us know

@zemkiose Your website states that its "for everyone"

This is very vague and not true - i'm not journalist and i don't need my photos to be verified, so your website isn't for me.

So if you want serve journalists, state it on your website.
