After 2 years, and 2 pivots We launched Nexa, an AI analytics web app, that lets you chat with your CSVs, MySQL and PostgreSQL databases. Our AI can then generate charts and tables in our Notion like editor!

Lessons
Here’s some back story, and the 5 lessons my cofounders and I have learned along the way!
- Work with people you trust - we’ve known each other for 12+ years. There’s ups and downs, but trusting your cofounders is key
- Validate your idea before building! - Use sites like Usertesting or respondent to chat with potential users. Talk to people in your network. Build something that people want
- You’ve got a solution? Great! Strip that solution down, and launch earlier than you want to. Your potential users will tell you implicitly and explicitly if your solution is good or not. And you’ll learn so much faster this way
- Rapidly iterate. Don’t sit in a room and think too much. Listen to users, build solutions, and iterate fast!
- Enjoy the journey!! Life is short. Entrepreneurship is hard. Be present in the moment, and don’t take anything for granted
