Considering a user activation metric?

Sup Hackers! I just read this Q&A on user activation for SaaS. A 30% reduction in early churn seems like a significant test result. I'm curious if anyone else here has had tangible results they could share around the impact on conversion rate, ARPU or churn by implementing activation benchmarks. If so, and what product benchmarks/actions did you start with and what tools did you use to roll up the data?
