If you’re new here, this is DAY 15 of a 27 DAY series where you peek over my shoulder and learn how to lay out a remote service business just like my company that just hit $20 million in sales.

Quick thread where I walk you through what we use for our phone systems to make this a completely remote business.

Short and sweet today: DAY 2 OF HIRING

All previous threads are here:

Day 14- HIRING DAY 1

So yesterday we went through Day 1 on how we find service providers.

Since this is an important part of building these businesses, I thought we would run it back and do a day 2.

Today we’ll go through a few more examples of how we find teams to show you this is actually super doable.

So one spot that we like to always take a look at is Facebook Groups.

MOMS GROUPS

Do a search for moms group in your city and you'll likely find multiple results like so...

You can then pop in and ask if if anyone knows a good home cleaner. Chances are you'll get multiple results and then you can message the cleaner.

Here's two actual examples of us doing it...

AND

So I wanted to share this so folks realize that this stuff is doable and it's really nothing to overthink.

There are hundreds of folks out there that are ready and willing to work with you.

I'll show you a few more spots to find them...

Another dope spot that folks are sometimes cautious about...

GOOD OLE CRAIGSLIST

We like to post in the gigs section and even reach out to folks that have posted in there offering their services..

Then you can start to collect folks in a spreadsheet.

Here's one you can use.

And if you're like me and you interview remotely we use tools like Zoom and online signature tools like Hellosign to sign contracts, welcome docs etc.

There's a free tier. https://sign.dropbox.com/features/sign-and-fill-pdf-document

So I'll slow down here and say, don't get overwhelmed.

We do use tools in building these companies because our goal is to have things be as seamless as possible when we hit volume.

And as usual I'll share everything with you that I can.

So we're into the second half of this, but more fun stuff to come.

Short and sweet for today but I'll dig in deeper tomorrow, long post on the way then!

DAY 16

@spiderkiller007 Great postings, I’ve actually been waiting for us to discuss the hiring process! Question for you: do you recommend any particular software to handle things like payments to the service providers, 1099 documents, and generating tax documents?

@spiderkiller007 Another great post, thanks bro! The idea about asking in Facebook groups for what cleaners people use is a great one, even for finding providers for my own personal use.

Looking forward to tomorrow's post!
