What I'm Doing:
I’m creating a DIY wood Project Kit to provide an outlet for as many DIY’ers as possible to take action, be creative, and have fun building.
I always wanted to get into woodworking and DIY projects but I never knew where to start and most of the tools are expensive. After putting it off for months I said screw it, bought some wood, found a neighbor who would, (almost made a pun), cut it for me, and then started building. I went on to build a less than stellar bench, but I loved it. I found I had a lot of pride in showing people the bench I built with my own hands.
Living in an apartment with not much room for a saw and other large tools I started searching for some DIY wood kits and was less than impressed. I’ve teamed up with a manufacturer to create some DIY wood kits. Now I am just trying to answer some questions via the survey.
