Fellow YC aspirants, roast my startup

Hey guys!

I'm dying to get my app absolutely obliterated. No, seriously. I applied to the W23 batch (my 7th application overall).

For the last couple of months I've been working on ShopMe. What started as a price checker for in-store items evolved a universal wishlist app because we found out that our users had a more pressing problem: too.many.wishlists. 74% of online shoppers use some kind of list to keep track of things that they want to buy, but they end up creating too many across different websites.

We forget items, lose out on deals, and ordering multiple items from different websites is a bitch.

ShopMe lets you create a universal wishlist. You can build your list three ways:
  1. Import WHOLE wishlists from most major ecommerce sites (just make sure they're public, pls)
  2. Add items via links
  3. Add items via barcodes
When items are in ShopMe, you'll get price drop notifications. If you want to buy them, just add it to your ShopMe cart and order with one click.

I'm not looking for feedback on my landing page, but on the app itself. You can download it here:

Apple -> https://apps.apple.com/nl/app/shopme/id1584689211?l=en

Android -> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.shopme.mobile

We also launched on Product Hunt so would be amazing if you can also upvote and comment there too.

@melissauk Affiliates with brands! Our focus now is to make people add more stuff to their list and basically make ShopMe their singular wishlist. In the app, you can add items to a cart (even from different sites) and you can place orders with just one click. The idea would be to charge a % on transactions that happen through the app.
