How do you structure a team’s title with 2 CTO and 1 CEO

That 1 CEO is not a problem but we have two tech guys, if one is CTO, what would the title of the second tech person be? If there’s anything that differentiate the two people, one is full stack eng and another one is data scientist.

@omega52 I have seen positions of co-CEO
So I think Co-CTO is possible as well?

But others have better suggestions, ideally CPO and CTO.
But they want tech in their title (why?) then CTO, CDO or CAIO (AI officer - newest fancy title)

@omega52 Depends on their job responsibilities.

Full Stack Eng - CTO

Data Scientist - Chief Data Scientist, Chief Data Officer

--------------------------------------

Director of Engineering, VP of Engineering - these roles are more suited for people who are into engineering management.

@omega52 It depends entirely on the problem you are trying to solve. What is forcing you to make a decision? Personal conflicts? Clarity for investors? Clarity for team?

What is your team size?
Who are your customers? Enterprise customers will want to know who the right person to speak with is and they won’t want to say: “CTO #2”. Consumers could care less how your team is organized as long as you are solving their problem.

@omega52 Find different roles and responsibilities, forget about titles! If one of them should leave, who would you not be able to build your product without? That's your CTO IMO. One can assume a COO or CSO role if one holds a more strategic role with one's insights. Heck, you can create something out of thin air, it's your company.
