Namaste.

My name is Utkarsh and i am the founder of Ioza Learning (www.ioza.in) - a live academy for Sexual and Menstrual Health for kids aged 8-18.

What we do is: We teach kids, pre teens and teenagers Sex Education & Period Education online. We provide today bits on the same on social media and are tying to solve the problem of:
1. Lack of a Comprehensive & Inclusive Sex Education in schools.
2. Lack of Sustainable Menstruation Knowledge/resources among children and pre teens.
3. Sexual Violence & Period Poverty

We have collaborated with teachers (Certified Sex Educators & Menstrual Educators) from all over the country with a cumulative 20+ years of experience in teaching the same to kids and teenagers & are also active on social media trying to educate the young generation in the same.

Based in Kolkata, Ioza Learning is going to reach out to Schools (K-12) with a vision that every school - Private + Government should teach Sex Education and Menstruation Education to every young child and growing teenagers. Potential Private School include: St Xavier's Collegiate School (My alama Mater), La Martiniere, Loreto, Ashoka Hall, GDB + Gov School - Ballygunge Gov School, AP Girls School and 2 more.

Our Curriculum is drafted with expertise of > 20 years and include essentials such as Consent, Family & Relationship, Dating, LGBTQ, contraceptives, Body Anatomy, Violence and Drugs, Pornography and Internet Privacy, Asking for Help and Establishing boundaries and much more.

We are planning to start a whatsapp based group for Teenagers/parents where the agenda would be:
1. Provide Small Titbits on Sex Education and Sustainable Period Hygiene.
2. News, Article about Sex Education, Menstrual, Period Poverty about India (Specifically)
3. Tips suggestions and more on how to raise children, educate children about sex education and periods, how to contribute to solving the problem of period poverty and much more.
4. Social media influencer to follow who teach Sex Ed + Period Ed online (Reels, Explainer Videos etc)
5. You can ask doubts 24/7 to us or our mentors.

Future Plans:

1. In future we plan to connect various NGOs working in this field with potential students/adults who wished to intern in those NGOs. One would be able to avail internship from those NGOs. A sort of like LinkedIn/Internshala for Sex Ed/Period based NGOs ONLY.
2. We are also planning to start a course on how to be "Certified Sex Educator" & steps, procedure, where to go to be certified, time it shall take etc.

And much more.

We have 5 expert mentors with 20+ years of exp (Certified Sexuality Educators & Menstrual Educators) on ready where one can ask their doubts w.r.t to their body, sex, Sexuality, periods and everything related to this. @xsmnt4 Hello and am pleased to meet a fellow alumnus on Reddit. To answer your question, yes, absolutely. We have hired our teachers from all over the country - Odisha, Mumbai, Noida etc. Although as of now, >70% students we have taught are from Kolkata only, it is only due to Ioza Learning being an early stage startup. We have 100% capabilities to teach students from all over India and market for the same as well. In the next few years, we see ourselves spreading to Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Allahabad, Amritsar, Chandigarh and more - tier 1, 2, 3 cities.
