@romans535 JP Morgan famously died with relatively little wealth to his person to avoid inheritance tax. Of course, this has absolutely nothing to do with what he could control. It was a more...wild time back then as many modern financial laws had yet to be enacted. You should read about the Pujo Committee and what they found about JP Morgan to get a better sense, but as I've mentioned to you several times before, it's really really difficult to peel back the layers to individuals that wealthy.
