Please roast our LegacyApp – Your Life’s Black Box. We're just about to unveil “LegacyApp”. It’s an Andorid&iOS app - digital vault - designed to securely organise and share essential personal information (think insurance policies, crypto or game items 😈 ) with loved ones in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Picture it as an addendum to a classic "life insurance" – but instead of leaving behind money, your beneficiaries receive vital information about what you own and where it's located, all transferred automatically and without any legal fuss to a beneficiary of your choice following your passing.

LegacyApp prioritizes privacy and security, housing data solely on the user's smartphone and personal cloud storage like Google Drive or Apple iCloud.

The Problem: Our digital lives are vast and scattered. From countless emails to online accounts and digital assets like cryptocurrencies, vital pieces of our financial and personal legacies are often unknown or inaccessible to our families.

It's not just about social media accounts; it's about ensuring your family knows about your insurance policies, bank, pension and investment accounts, or crypto assets you may own.

Most of estate managers say there is a need for better access to such digital legacies. To illustrate, in the US alone, about 33 million people are unaware of nearly $70 billion worth of assets left in dormant accounts by deceased relatives.

Our Solution: LegacyApp simplifies this challenge into a straightforward, accessible mobile application. Add or edit your information anytime, anywhere, and the app even keeps tabs on you with a simple “Are you OK ?” notification.

If there's no response (after repeated attempts), it safely grants access to your designated beneficiary.

You can also opt-in to appoint three or more “trusted friends” of which at least two would have to confirm your passing before your information is shared with the beneficiary.

Market Size & Dynamics: We aim to serve a global audience, targeting 50 million users by 2030. In the first year we want to onboard 100 000 users up to 2 million after second year.

We expect demand among middle to high-income households, especially those with conservative values, making up about 30% of the global population.

Competition: While some services (even big techs) offer ways to pass on digital accounts to heirs, they often involve cumbersome processes and lack a dedicated focus on privacy.

Unlike our competitors, LegacyApp offers a hassle-free, mobile-native solution that doesn’t compromise on data security.

Plus, we’re the first mover in this niche, aiming to set the standard in digital legacy management. There are some similar solutions based on blockchain (like Inheriti), but they are far too complicated for a massive adoption.

Business Model: Freemium. LegacyApp can be used for free with ad support, alongside a premium account that removes ads and will include future exclusive features.

As the data is not stored on our servers, marginal user costs are nominal – the app is built for scalability and profitability. We expect around 2-5% of user to convert to premium customers and are looking to charge an annual fee of around 25 EUR/USD for the premium version.

We are also looking at different forms of B2B2C partnerships offering discounted premium subscriptions to corporates interested in partnering with us, and could also offer white-labelled solutions in the future.

Growth Strategy: Our approach is phased, starting with targeted PR and influencer partnerships, followed by performance marketing and strategic B2B2C collaborations, particularly in the insurance and finance sectors.
