So I started working with this startup a few months back, for free, as a side project in the hopes that if it goes somewhere they'll give a much better offer than my current full time job. Built an MVP ready for release 3 weeks from now and we already have customers signing up for demos with some of them signing contracts. They made an offer to me, but the base is 35% less than my current job and 0.5% worth of stock. Nothing much else. I want to back out of this, only problem is the "contract" I signed states I have to give 1 week notice. I don't want to do that. Do they have a legal claim to come after me?
