Real-time-ish equity calculator

As a vanilla employee, I find it hard to know the value of startup equity.

One source of uncertainty is I need to know the company's valuation. But that valuation is not real time. It was last valued in 2021.

So let's say it was last valued at 100x revenue. But now the market says a more correct range should be 6x-10x revenue (I don't actually know, just throwing out numbers).

Is there a calculator online that let me do this:

I input my startup's info (revenue, growth rate, market), it automatically finds public companies in the same sector, and give me guidance on how much my startup is worth?i.e. because public companies in the same sector are doing X revenue and Y growth rate, and they're valued at X multiple, so the startup should be valued at ...

@marie22 That wouldn't work because you wouldn't be taking into account the fact that investors most likely have preference rights

Best is to just ignore it until it's liquid

@lance331982 that's true. If there's an app to help take into account that kind of thing it'll be nice.

Something like:

Here's the value of your equity if preference rights were X

and

Here's the value of your equity if preference rights were Y
