Reddit announced that they are introducing Durgesh Kaushik, the VP of APAC (Asia-Pacific market) and Emerging markets (I'm thinking that "Emerging markets" mean Africa).

According to Durgesh Kaushik he was the one who introduced Coinbase to APAC, EMEA and the North and South American continent. He also oversaw Snap being introduced to India.

The latest Reddit user data shows that 47% of users are based in US, 7.5% from UK, 7.36% from Canada, 4.15% Australia, 3.4% Germany and then the rest of the world. Why is this important? Slowly the demographics of the userbase is changing and that is the good thing because then Reddit can really become the next big world phenomenal thing. With that in mind growth hackers like we all are going to be in BIG demand in upcoming years. Embrace yourself cause subreddits like /r/growthhacking, /r/redditmarketing and /r/marketing will probably see a huge increase of new specialists. Probably there will also be a huge demand for high-quality teachers, specialists and consultants.

To be honest I like that Durgesh ir also Redditor so he also understands what the community is all about. So I wish him all the luck. For all you I say - LET'S GOOOOOOOOO!
