Referral platform experiences

Have any of you used a referral platform like kickofflabs.com Growsurf.com, girafi.io, referralcandy.com? If so what was your experience?

@diwalifestival I've used kickoff labs in the past but didn't do much for me. It only works as described if it's supported by a marketing effort that drives traffic to you. It's always time+money+ resources.
