Taxes, and structure for a new business in the u.s. (am I missing anything?)

This would be for just me doing a side business doing work at people's homes:

Step 1: File llc in my state and a DBA (doing business as)

Step 2: get an ein from the irs so I can open a business bank account

Step 3: get business insurance

Step 4: advertising and getting business

Step 5: go do the work and stuff

Step 6: record expenses and income and travel

Step 7: file a schedule ç on my personal income taxes
 
@ged I don't want to shoehorn my llc into a single business, if I find a different opportunity then I'd like to be able to pivot if necessary, or even run multiple business names under one llc.
