In today's digital age, acquisition marketplaces and VC funding web pages have become a normal phenomenon on the world wide web. Below are some of the leading marketplaces where a lot of Saas and internet businesses get sold or acquired. You can check these legal marketplaces in your spare time.
  1. BitsForDigits: is a partial acquisition marketplace where founders and investors either sell partial stakes or buy into profitable internet startups and SMBs. They help founders take some chips off the table by selling minority or majority stakes. Also, BitsForDigits is supported by the European Union and the Berlin Senate. BitsForDigits introduce founders to investors across 30 countries within Europe. It is located within Berlin, the startup capital of the European Union.
  2. Microacquire: is a startup acquisition marketplace for entrepreneurs and investors trying to either sell or buy businesses. They help startups get acquired within 30 days. The brand is quite popular amongst American startups and entrepreneurs. It is located in the U.S.A.
  3. Angellist: is a VC marketplace where startups receive funds from various investors listed on the website. They help startups raise funds to achieve their growth targets. Location U.S.A
  4. Getacquired : Also a full acquisition marketplace. They are in direct competition with Microacquire.
  5. flippa : This is an online marketplace for the sale of all business types. SME, Blogs, Websites, etc. Filppa doesn't operate in a niche market and allows all types of businesses to be listed on its platform.

@loralees46 I think Flippa is actually the O.G. in the space of online company sales. They have been around forever and even raised Venture Capital after MicroAcquire did. Looks like a red ocean so happy that BitsForDigits is doing something new

@loralees46 Good list! I see a lot of smaller / niche marketplaces pop up here and there, e.g. Duuce for newsletter businesses. Super cool so much is happening in this space
