When should I apply to yc?

I am almost done with the beta version of my product (1-2 days left). I don’t have any customers/users yet although I have a couple that said they’ll use it when I launch. I am planning on applying for w23. Should I apply now so that I can be in the early group or should I wait until I have a few customers and then apply?

P.S. I am a solo founder. I applied last batch with not much more than a landing page and a simple demo. Unfortunately I didn’t make it to the interview stage.

@mnzrt You can apply now, and update your application whenever you have any significant updates, like getting customers, launching, revenue etc.

@sanyambe Thanks, let’s say yc reviews my initial application and decides not to move forward. Will they review it if I add updates?

@mnzrt Yep, you can always email the admissions team with major updates, even in the situation where they review your application early.
