@jasonf Mobilization fee- cast to transport equipment, includes gas and wear and tear on vehicle and trailer to get there, throw at least 100 profit on top. Rest depends on T&M or hard bid. You must charge the mobilization fee though. It should be around 100 + 1.25( cost per mile for vehicle)...

@soxdre Especially when the big companies are paying a lot more. No self respecting tradesman will work for some guy who doesn't know what he is doing and pays bottom dollar on top of that.

@richard161171 Can confirm. I was a finish carpenter in high end residential during college. I certainly wouldn't go do handyman work, if I did not have to or have a profit motive.
