@carlo1 Yes and no. Do your DD. Overall, I think age is not a problem, it’s your advantage. The team is more diverse, has wider experience, at the end of the day, more productive. I enjoyed discussing and doing things with my former co-founder who was 20 years older than me.

However, something to keep an eye for is the attitude. If someone has held C-level positions for vast majority of his career, that type of person may not be the right builder you need for the bootstrapping phase. These people are often great at execution and running and already established team. What you need is a person that can actually run the campaigns and sales themselves. If that’s your person, then go for it.
