The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) has announced several outreach events for business. DLA handles the majority of procurement for for the five military services, 11 combatant commands, other federal, state and local agencies partner and allied nations. DLA provided more than $46.7 billion in goods and services for FY2022.

Military sales can be a hedge against the potential upcoming recession by providing consistent long-term income for businesses.

Here are some upcoming events at DLA:

3/8/2023 (zoom online) - Doing Business with DLA with an emphasis on the Woman-owned small business program

4/5/2023 (zoom online) - Understanding how to do business with DLA Contracting Services Office (DCSO)

5/3/2023 (in person, Virginia) - DLA Aviation Industry Day [link has not been posted yet]

5/10/2023 (zoom online) - Understanding how to do business with DLA Troop Support

We have a growing community of defense contractors in /r/defensecontracting discussing everything about the business of selling to the military.

@dag24 If someone has a business and wants to expand into selling to the govt, DLA also funds the PTAC program which offers free assistance (and low cost services like bid match).

Find your local office.
