Why most of the international medias talking about cost cutting nowadays?
Im working for Better HR an HR software startup located in Southeast Asia. we deal with many small and medium businesses daily. You see our daily operations and classified data made me realise something useful to new era entrepreneurs.
Even google and twitter fired around 10k employees in 2022, you know why? the answer is operation cost. Building rent, electric bill, maintenance cost, allowances, insurance and so forth. Every company run to make profit isn't it? in the end they will analyse the what can they get from the whole processes. So as an employee what should we do? be productive, help them earn something. a simple formula. if we won't use for them, they will indeed fire us.
Some of our clients come for HR system to have an analytics system to check employee productivity. They are many pros and cons in an HR system for both employee and employer, but it is the new normal (to adopt an HR system). Some IT sector clients fully disband their office to reduce the maintenance cost and become fully remote work, thanks to our HR system. Believe or not remote working is not a big deal when you have the right management.
In point of view 9-5 work will get bored one-day, before that save some money and start your own business, make that as your retirement plan. What do u think? Share your thoughts.
