Long story short: Put up seasonal greeting post early on so that when brands come to Pinterest for ideas for Mother's day campaign, they'll find you.

@drawingangel2 Do the pins stay up (for years) after they are posted? How can being early win over pins that are years old, and already seen many times? Im unfamiliar with pinterest so I wonder how recency plays into this.

@novaluv Pinterest has the longest lifetime for a post. It can be even more than 200 days. TO win over old pins, you have to beat them on SEO and design concept / idea
