Building a SaaS product is hard!

Some folk make it sound easy, but for us it has been a grind!

Our product is an all-in-one project management and wiki app for small teams (www.superthread.com) and we found that it's an incredibly hard thing to build.

We are obsessed with making it fast which is why it took us much longer craft.

We launched 9 months ago and somehow it's taking off.

We are super proud of this achievement given that none of us like marketing as we are primarily obsessed with product and tech.

Feb 5 - Feb 11: 16 signups

Apr 1 - Apr 7: 76 signups

Apr 8 - Apr 14: 88 signups

Apr 15 - Apr 21: 109 signups

Apr 22 - Apr 28: 122 signups

Code:
663% quarterly growth.

@markde916 That's pretty good numbers with zero/bad marketing. It shows how good your product must be.

But how is it different compared to your competitors - say Trello or Notion for instance?

@markde916 Congrats. Just one thing, If they are your value propositions, you should probably find a way to objectively quantify them. More scalable, less chaotic or first class: these are too subjective and easy for someone not to agree with you

@scuddly Our month one retention is 33.3% (including free emails such as gmail) compared to 18% which is industry average for a medium sized tech company.

@markde916 Love it. This also proves how a simple idea can work inspite of heavy competition.

Can you give us more idea on the early stages, when did you start (day1), and MVP launch, and the last 9 months...
