This is a very important message if you are a startup founder or marketer.

The world right now doesn't look healthy. Major factors adding to risks for Global Economy:

• COVID
• Climate Change
• Frequent Social Unrest (the world is increasingly becoming communal)
• US-Russia Proxy war in Ukraine

Y Combinator warned startup founders of Economic Downturn in May, they said, 'Plan For The Worst’.

The message from several VCs if you're a startup founder:

1. Conserve cash
2. Hire diligently
3. Optimize cost
4. Control cash burn
5. Extend runway as far as possible

If you are a startup employee, there are two ways to become an indispensable hire:

• Bring Results (X traffic, Y leads, Z users) -- Become the key team member that is responsible to bring the leads / sales / revenue. Nobody fires the person who impacts the bottom line.
• Get Things Done (articles written, outreach emails sent, etc.) -- Make the team dependent on you for major operations that support growth.

@belaya_zvezda Yeah. It is likely to get worse before it gets better. It is a good time to start a side hustle tbh just not a start up that needs a lot $$$.
